Both modern and contemporary painting have become effective internationally and investment at auction has become interesting and competitive. The Mexican market is no exception, painting being the most attractive and best-valued discipline within the Fine Arts.
Highlights include an oil painting and a sculpture of the famous "Moors" by Rafael Coronel, an emblematic ink by Gunther Gerzso, a resin sculpture entitled "Maqueta para Cabeza Tubichino" by Javier Marín, as well as a large bronze of the famous Juan Soriano and an ink and silver white on rice paper known in Japanese culture as kakemono and that the man from Guadalajara made in 1959.
